Welcome to 229, "PIRATES COVE," our nautically appointed vacation getaway. Unit 229 is a preferred Gulf view unit. Every room has been professionally decorated to a nautical theme with all new furnishings and décor.
A newly remodeled, fully equipped kitchen opens to the living room, where a dining table awaits with seating for 6. The sleeper sectional is equipped with a queen-size gel mattress for overflow guests. Enjoy the beautiful Gulf views from the large sliding glass doors and hear the waves rolling onto the spectacular beach Port Aransas has to offer!
For your entertainment, the unit has all Smart TVs. Boasting a 64" in the living room and 42" in the bedrooms. Enjoy Spectrum TV or Spectrum Wi-Fi for your favorite streaming service. There is a desk in the master in case you need to catch up on a little work with Wi-Fi provided by Spectrum. Family games are in the dining room cabinet.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a large sliding glass door to enjoy the view. Appointed with both sheers and blackout window treatments. Enjoy your own private en suite and walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has a view of the courtyard and swimming pool. It has a queen-size bed, blinds with blackout window coverings, and a private en suite.
The laundry room is a great place to store coolers, beach toys, and towels. New washer and dryer for our guests' use.
The huge private deck provides unobstructed gulf views, maybe you will even see a pirate ship! Southern exposure for sun lovers and polywood furniture with seating for 6. The deck is partially covered to keep you dry during an occasional afternoon shower.
The 229 is ideally located. It's the second door from the beach front elevator with great access to the beach Boardwalk, main swimming pool/hot tub, and grilling picnic area.

We really enjoyed the condo. Check in was smooth. The condo is very spacious and we loved the balcony. We did do any actual cooking but everything you need was there. The laundry room right up front was great to leave beach items and not trek everything in the condo. The linens and sheets provided were just ok/ some could use replacing. I do wish there were a few extra towels provided. I ended up washing a few loads so we could have clean ones each day. The first night we struggled to find the bedding for the pullout couch so we made due as it was too late to call the front. The next day I reached out to the front desk and within 10 mins bedding was at our door. The mattress on the pullout could use replacing but other than that it was ok. The property is undergoing some maintenance (elevator repair, pressure washing, etc) but it was nice to see a presence of people maintaining the property and cleaning the pools. I do wish there was some sort of bar/snack bar at the pool area, coffee bar on site and beach chair/ umbrella rental on the beach. The stairs downs to the beach make it difficult for families with wagons, strollers and rolling coolers. Definitely look at installing a ramp. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will probably be back again. The space for the price is really nice.

There were alot of improvment made since our last visit last summer. The only issue i had was the bar on the sleeper sofa. My grand didnt notice it but for two nights it made sleeping alittle uncomfortable.i was thinking of taking a foam topper next year.

Another summer in Pirate Cove. We love this condo for our family. We love being able to hear the crashing wavea of the ocean and view from the balcony.the unit has enough room for us to spread out and my granddughter loves making a fort in the living room.The upgrades to the unit were an added bonus and new games for the kids. This beautiful condo is stocked with everything you need for a extended stay. I have only one minor issue which is the pull out couch which is not the best sleep , maybe add a topper to add a barrier, so you wont feel the bar as much. It doesnxt seem to bother my young granddaughter.

This condo is exactly as described. Beautiful and spotless interior along with very comfortable beds and every amenity you need. The balcony view is really nice, too. Access to the beach is fast and simple and less than a 2 minute walk. The location of La Mirage is in a very quiet area as well. The exterior of the resort as well as the office and grounds area, however, could benefit from some updates.
We would definitely stay here again! Great job!

I cannot say enough great things about this unit. Starting with all the beautiful decor and beautiful view from the huge balcony. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed including delicious coffee. I loved that each bedroom had an en-suite bathroom and very comfortable beds. I felt like this unit was so spacious and had lots of storage. Plus it was located close to the elevator and a close walk to the beach. We felt like this unit had everything we needed plus more. We had a wonderful time here and can't wait to come back.

Loved, lived the decor. This condo offered everything we wanted. Loved the location, the view, the beach and the pool. It was clean and stocked perfectly for cooking, games to play, doing laundry and even had beach toys. We plan to go back again!

The unit was clean and nicely appointed. The beds were comfortable. Maybe just add a regular deck of cards and dice. Otherwise has a super time. The little gift was a super touch. I've worn the earrings several time.

This condo was beautifully decorated and comfortable for our family to spend a long weekend on the beach. It checked all of our boxes: ocean view, easy access to the beach, well stocked kitchen, nice pool and the property itself was easy to get around.
We will definatley stay here again, it got a thumbs up from my grand.

Very cute and clean condo! Staff was friendly and check in and out very quick and easy. This condo was in a very good location, could see the ocean from the large patio. It had everything you needed and loved the decor. I would definitely recommend this one!
