The entry booth closes at 5 p.m., so arriving before then avoids any hassle with paying the fee, but the gate itself stays open until 10 p.m., meaning visitors already inside are free to stay well past dark.

Horace Caldwell Pier

The tower sits high enough to clear the jetty and take in the full width of the channel, and it’s a short walk from the parking area.
