This guide will help you fill every minute of your getaway with unforgettable authentic Texas adventures.

Summer’s Not Over Until We Say So Party, September 21, Port A Beer Hut

This may not be the biggest event of the season, but it is the one that best represents the stubborn nature of Texans, and if your beef with fall is that it is not summer, you will love hanging out at this last day of summer event. The Port A Beer Hut is known for its eternal summer vibe and this fun summer event reflects that vibe, offering live music, refreshing beverages, and when you belly up to its bar, you may find yourself on a swing instead of a barstool. The swings attached to the tiki roof of the beer hut ensure that your summer adventures will continue throughout your Port Aransas getaway!

Port A Live Music Fest, September 27th & 28th Various Venues Throughout Port Aransas

Live music and summer nights go hand in hand, and even though the Port A Live Music Fest is planted firmly in the fall season, you won’t give the season a single thought. Offering 15 different shows held in five different venues, the music will have you dancing the night away, and even if you are a classic rock fan (at least one show will offer that genre) we think you will discover a love for smooth jazz, hot R&B, and the charms of Texas Country as you celebrate the season in the hottest night spots in town. Ticket prices range from $30 for General Admission to $100 for VIP access which includes preferred seating and festival tees that will bring back memories of the best nights every time you wear them.

Taco & Margarita Trail & Sweet Traditions Trail, Every Day in October, Various Venues

The best vacations are often remembered for the foods enjoyed and your October escape to Port A will always be remembered for your explorations of these two trails of deliciousness. A variety of our local restaurants will be offering their versions of America’s new favorite handhelds, exciting our palates with new flavors we can’t wait to try to reproduce at home and because every taco tastes even better when accompanied by a frosty margarita, their unique renditions will bring you joy. Oh, and many of the restaurants will also be participating in the Sweet Traditions Trail, so we encourage you to examine the desserts they have created to celebrate Beachtober in Port Aransas.

Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival, October 25th Through 27th, Robert’s Point Park

Port Aransas has gone through many metamorphoses in its centuries of inhabitation, and for many residents, the sea has provided the means of living. Whether they were fishermen heading off each day to catch the fresh seafood served by local restaurants or builders of the wooden boats that served as their daily rides, these early settlers depended on Mother Nature to make their living and the Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival celebrates their hardiness. Creating boats, kayaks, and paddleboards that will be launched from Roberts Point Park, this wonderful festival also offers food, arts, crafts, and boat kit vendors to ensure that your celebration will include all the most important elements of a truly excellent party.

Port Aransas Farmers Market, November 10, The Pavilion at the Dennis Dryer Municipal Harbor

Stocking your La Mirage Kitchen can be a serene and enjoyable experience when you attend the annual Port Aransas Farmers Market, held every year in November. Offering locally sourced produce, seafood, and meat, the farmers market is also a fantastic place to find souvenirs, art, and other crafty items, and as you wander through the aisles, sampling deliciousness, examining art masterpieces, and finding almost everything you need to stock your seasonal sanctuary, the good times will make you wish you never had to go home again.
