Join us for the annual celebration of Port Aransas’s boat-building heritage! The Port Aransas Wooden Boat Festival, which began in 2014, is a three-day family-friendly event that showcases handcrafted kayaks, paddleboards, skiffs, and sailing boats, as well as historic Farley boats.

The highlight of the festival is the Family Boat Build, where three to four families work together to construct a boat over the course of two and a half days, culminating in a launch after lunch on Sunday.

Additionally, there will be a Nautical Market featuring a variety of vendors, including food, arts and crafts, and boat kit suppliers. Other activities include a wooden boat showcase, guest speakers, kids’ activities, and more. You will even have the chance to row a boat in the harbor!
