Again, because you have chosen La Mirage and our escapes offer fully equipped kitchens, you can lessen the burden on your budget by choosing to eat in for some meals, but the culinary landscape of Port Aransas is one that deserves to be explored. As a matter of fact, the most impactful moments may just be the ones you spend walking along white sand beaches in search for the perfect sand dollar, and because we live, work, and play here in Port A, we can give you the tips you need that will lead you to that sand dollar you have been searching for your entire life. You could, of course, probably find a pristine one in many of the local souvenir stores, and if you want to go that route, all you have to do is ask and we will lead you to your “pot of gold,” but if the thrill of the hunt is what you crave, we suggest a trip to Mustang Island State Park.

The food we eat during our travels generally play a large part in our memories, but not always for the right reasons.
