Tourist season is in full swing in the summer months, and as the mercury rises, you may find yourself spending more time splashing in pools and the Gulf. Shopping for souvenirs is a popular tourist activity, especially as you can cool off in the air conditioning as you search for treasures. Our little secret we want to share with you is that fall in Port Aransas may be the best time of year! This season features temperatures that are still warm enough for swimming. Beachtober, a festival that lasts the entire month of October, includes a Wooden Boat Festival, a Taco & Margarita Trail, and so much more. This is the most comfortable season for fishing, and Deep Sea Headquarters (440 W Cotter Avenue) can make your deep sea fishing dreams come true.
