 kites of all sizes soaring above the shoreline. While kites may be flying 
 throughout the weekend\, Saturday\, May 9\, 2026\, is the main day of the 
 event.\n\n\nWhat to Expect\n\n 	Kite flyers begin setting up around 10:00 
 a.m.\n 	Flying takes place between beach markers 1 and 20\n 	Kites fly all
  day\, weather permitting\n 	Depending on conditions\, you may even catch 
 a glimpse of night kites\n 	Guests are welcome to bring their own kite or
