We begin the month with a touch of holiday magic as Easter Baskets are available in the office on April 3. The excitement continues on April 4 with the La Mirage Easter Egg Hunt, a family‑friendly favorite that brings smiles to all ages. Easter Sunday arrives on April 11, reminding us to celebrate, connect, and enjoy the beauty of springtime on the coast.
Midmonth brings the Spring Fling Shop Around on April 10—a perfect opportunity to explore local vendors, discover unique finds, and enjoy a day of casual browsing with neighbors and friends. Then on April 15, everyone is invited to gather seaside for S’mores on the Beach, a cozy evening filled with sweet treats, crackling firelight, and great company.
The excitement continues with one of the biggest events of the season: Texas SandFest, taking place April 17–19. This world‑famous sand‑sculpting festival transforms the beach into a stunning outdoor gallery of creativity, artistry, and coastal celebration—a must‑see event for visitors and locals alike.
To round out the month, April 25 marks Earth Day, a meaningful moment to appreciate our beautiful shoreline and the natural wonders that make Port Aransas such a special place to live and visit.

March is arriving with sunshine, coastal breezes, and a lively lineup of events here at La Mirage! Whether you’re ready to celebrate the season, meet up with friends, or enjoy a few tasty treats, this month’s calendar is packed with activities to make spring unforgettable.
We kick off the month with our Mahjong gatherings on March 3rd and 10th—great for sharpening your strategy and spending time with fellow players. Sundays get a flavorful twist with Sip & Shuck Sundays, and for those who love a little friendly competition, Card Night keeps the Rec Room buzzing every Saturday at 6:00pm.
Mid‑month brings seasonal excitement as Spring Break begins March 14th and wraps up on March 21st. St. Patrick’s Day lands right in the middle, and we’re celebrating in green‑spirited style. Join us for Shamrock Shakes on March 21st at 3:00pm—a sweet way to toast the end of Spring Break.
The festivities continue with a special outing to The Great American Trailer Park Musical on March 23rd, offering an evening of laughs and theater fun. Later in the month, our community favorites return: Happy Hour & Potluck on March 26th at 5:30pm and the beloved Donuts & Coffee morning on March 27th at 9:00am in the Rec Room.
